​Maine is a nationwide leader in the defense industry. Joshua understands the essential need for dominance and force projection that is associated with having a strong navy. This is why he is deeply troubled by the rapid Chinese Naval Ship build up that has out paced, but not outclassed, the U.S. Navy.
Mr. Pietrowicz supports a 500 ship strong U.S. Navy commanding the high seas to ensure global free trade with American dollars freely flowing into a growing global economy. With more rapid expansion, which is critically necessary, we can be building even more of America's finest Navy Destroyers here in Maine.

The threats to our nation never cease and never sleep, and neither should we. Whether it's international terrorism, growing tensions with peer adversaries, or threats domestically, Joshua is committed to ensuring our armed forces have the personnel, equipment, and training needed to neutralize all threats to our great nation. We also need to develop a robust civil defense force capable of responding to any emergency from any direction. Sending help to our neighbors should only be a question of how many hours help took to arrive, not how many weeks.
Whether it is online censorship, gun-confiscating government legislation, condemning / closing of churches and religious gatherings, or any other de-humanizing event in between, know that Joshua will always be an advocate for the God-given rights of the American people. He understands these things are worth fighting for at all costs.
Creating an Economy that is Capable of Full Employment:
We need an American economy that is robust, prominent, and capable of employing every class of Americans. Whether rich or poor, young or old, business owner or employee, everyone deserves the right to work in a safe workspace.

Providing for America Here at Home:
We should be able to meet our needs domestically by producing everything ourselves, rather than relying on others overseas. We will never know what challenges tomorrow may bring, so our nation needs to be confident that we can make the future here in America.
Lowering Taxes for Lower and Middle Class Americans:
Through lowering taxes on lower and middle class Americans, we can galvanize economic spending. This would grow our economy in a way that would benefit the entire union. Joshua understands that these cuts cannot simply come from anywhere, which is why he supports raising taxes on the ultra wealthy. We should ensure billionaires pay their fair share too.
